This report contains metrics that describe the fault detection (FD) and fault isolation (FI) capability associated with one or more defined subsets within an eXpress design. This report allows analysts to “slice and dice” testability assessments across various design subsets. For example, the Subset FD/FI Statistics Report can be used to determine the likelihood that customer-furnished avionics equipment is unambiguously isolated during diagnostics. Although (unlike the Fault Isolation Report) the fault isolation section of this report only evaluates the likelihood that a given subset will be isolated to fault groups of size 1, two numbers are listed for each subset—one based only on testing and one based on testing + lambda search.
